The Woerkums fishing rights relive for the youth, 10+
In addition to the book on the Fish Law, by Jos Bakker and the book for children by Lizzy, the Visserijmuseum has taken an extra step by developing a curriculum for group 8 and first graders of secondary education.
This package consists of a digital timeline of Woerkum and Altena which runs from 1362 to 2062. Along with this timeline come 6 lessons, the children are going on various excursions and the party game 'Poorters' is devised where 6 children can play per game play and get various questions and assignments that have to do with our history.
Special are the pawns, special figurines of a fisherman and (his?) wife, by artist Jaap Hartman.
Wednesday evening was the official presentation for guests, in the museum. On October 2nd 2018, the presentation of the project in the Public Primary School in Oudendijk.
All schools in the Land van Altena may use the two lessons made by the Visserijmuseum.
